prepositions of place

برای پرسش درباره مکان افراد، اشیا و  رویدادها و غیره از کلمه پرسشی Where استفاده می شود.

e.g. 

Where do you live? - I live in a house

Where does he live? - He lives in a house

Where do Tom and Martha live? - They live in a house

NB1 3 prepositions for places: [IN, ON, and AT]

هرسه حرف اضافه، به معنی " در" هستند، اما

استفاده از حرفهای اضافه بستگی به کلمه بعد از آن دارد.

IN [a house, a building, an office, a park, a museum, an apartment building, an office building, etc.]

ON [the first floor, the second floor, Madison Avenue, 5th Avenue, Oak Street, Main Street, etc.]

AT [58 Madison Avenue, 92 Main Street, the hotel, the university, the supermarket, the party, the hospital, the bus stop, the office, home, school, etc.]
