At work
I don’t drive to work because I don’t like the heavy traffic in the morning. I don’t take a taxi either because it’s too expensive, and I don’t like to take the bus to work, so I take the subway. It’s faster than the bus.
When I get to work, I sit at my desk.
First, I check my to-do list and start to work.
Next, I check my emails and reply to some immediately. I also have to make some telephone calls and have a few meetings. Usually, my assistant organizes everything.
If I have a meeting at a different venue, I never take the bus, because it’s never on time and it’s too slow. I take the subway or a taxi; the company pays for that.
At my desk, I have to organize my files and everything else, so that I can find them later when I need them.
I have a lunch break at 1:00 pm and 2 or 3 coffee breaks.
And about reports and stuff like that, I report to my team leader every week or when there is an emergency. I have to send some emails to my boss too.
If I have a presentation, I get ready in advance and prepare a powerpoint file and some documents.
